Reader's Digest AMD Ad a Success
Thanks to generous support from Alcon, we were able to extend our public awareness campaign on Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD). This ad ran in the June 2009 regular and large-print editions of Reader's Digest. Based on the level of response we are receiving at the ARF office, with more than 500 requests for AMD Kits received already, we can safely say that this was our best effort yet to raise public awareness and promote our educational materials. In this way, we are reaching out to those at risk with information and tools for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
