AMD Scientific Poster Awards

At the annual ASRS meeting in 2008 in Maui, HI, the foundation's board of directors viewed a total of 32 AMD-related posters. The judges selected one winner, who was awarded a $2,000 prize. The winning poster was entitled "Vitamin and Alternative Medicine use in Patients with Advanced Age-Related Macular Degeneration".
